YELLOW DOG LINUX v5.0 FOR PS3 RELEASE NOTES

1. Hardware Support
This particular YDL release supports only the Sony Computer Entertainment 
PLAYSTATION(R)3. While it is possible to make the provided RPMS work on other 
Power-architecture platforms, its it not supported or recommended at this 
time. Support for Apple and other Power architecture systems is forthcoming.

2. Wireless
Wireless is not at this time supported.

3. Bluetooth
Bluetooth devices are readily seen by Linux, but support for unique devices is
case-by-case, sometimes with a great deal of effort.

4. PS3 Video Modes
Only SD (standard definition) and HD (hi-definition) televisions and monitors 
with component inputs are supported. SD televisions may require a text-based 
install and post-install video configuration. The 720p mode usually provides 
the best viewing experience on HDTVs.

You will need both the otheros.bld and install_guide.pdf (found in this
directory) in addition to the bootloader installer found at Sony's website.
