This directory contains information about formatting the final versions of accepted papers for DMDW'99. The final camera-ready copy of your paper has to be sent as standard POSTSCRIPT or WORD files and in the required format BEFORE May, 30th 1999 to martin.staudt@swisslife.ch This is a HARD deadline !! ******************COPYRIGHT RULE***************************** By submitting the final versions to the above address the authors grant a non-exclusive copyright for their paper to the editors of DMDW'99 proceedings (Stella Gatziu, Manfred Jeusfeld, Martin Staudt, and Yannis Vassiliou). The editors are granted the right to publish the paper via WWW and in hardcopy. ************************************************************* The NUMBER of your paper can be found in paper_numbers.txt. Note that the new page numbers differ from the paper numbers that were assigned to the submitted version of your paper. You NEED this number for PAGE_NUMBERING in your camera-ready copy. The footline shall contain the author names (left side) and the page number in the format -. For example, the page number 16-3 is page 3 of paper 16. The sample file has dummy author names. A foot line should look like A. Miller, B. Smith 16-3 Please make the corresponding updates in your TeX file (e.g. paper16.tex) that should be written according sample.tex. If you use Word-97, then please make the corresponding changes in the footline of your file paperXY.doc. Please use sample.doc as example. The proceedings are published both as hardcopy (Swiss Life Technical Report No. 20, June 1999) and electronically (CEUR Workshop Proceeding Series, Vol. 19, http://SunSITE.Informatik.RWTH-Aachen.DE/Publications/CEUR-WS/Vol-19/) and are edited by S. Gatziu, M. Jeusfeld, M. Staudt and Y. Vassiliou. All authors using LATEX should process their manuscript with the DMDW style file dmdw99.sty Please take sample.tex (and samplebib.bib) as an example. Detailed formatting instructions are given in sample.ps which also serves as an example manuscript for users of others word processors. Please note the passage on IDENTIFICATION and PAGE NUMBERING and the corresponding commands in sample.tex. All authors using WORD should follow the same formatting instructions (Please note the passage on IDENTIFICATION and PAGE NUMBERING !) and can use sample.doc as an example.
